LAKE MARY, FLA. โ Florida Food Products, LLC has been granted a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its rice bran extract under its VegStable Plus brand. The United States Patent and Trademark Office issued US Patent No. 11,785,970 titled, โMethod for treating meat and seafood products with rice bran extract.โ Last November, the company was granted patent No. 11,484,051 for its VegStable Plus product titled, โRice bran extract compositions.โ
VegStable Plus is a plant-based ingredient that may offer manufacturers cleaner labels and may replace chemical ingredients such as starches, gums phosphates, and carrageenan, the company said.
